APOW is the ancestral name of the Founder April Stone, it is written in Cree syllabic on an obsidian arrowhead. Obsidian, a naturally sharp volcanic glass, is known for its ability to be crafted into razor-sharp edges representing sharp focus and protection. Also known for its strength and precision it reflects the company's ability to handle threats with accuracy and reliability. The arrow symbolizes forward-thinking and the company's commitment to staying ahead of potential risks and aiming to keep clients safe and secure.
TREATY 8 NORTH STAR PROGRAM - TRANSITIONAL YOUTH HOUSING
North Star is a program that provides support services and activities to help our youth with Learning, Educational & Professional Development. Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual wellness . (Re)connecting with Land, Culture, Language & Community. Financial Support and Housing Stability During Transition to Adulthood.
Indigenous Stone Corp has been partnered with Treaty 8 since the summer of 2023. APOW protective services a division of Indigenous Stone Corp has been providing and will continue to provide security services for the North Star housing program. These services include but are not limited to 24/7 Security Services, Licensed Security Guards, CCTV Monitoring, Medication Distribution, Drug and Alcohol testing, Mobile Patrol and Access Control.
