In the spring of 2020, at the height of the global pandemic, Indigenous Stone took swift and decisive action to support SLCN members and partner communities. The company developed and implemented comprehensive COVID-19 safety protocols and work practices, ensuring that essential operations could continue safely and responsibly.
Recognizing the growing need for community protection and workplace safety during this critical time, Indigenous Stone Corp. expanded its scope of services and established APOW Protective Services, a dedicated branch focused on providing professional, culturally informed security solutions.
Throughout 2020 to 2022, the company worked collaboratively with community partners, health agencies, and local governments to refine and enhance safety procedures in alignment with evolving public health guidelines. This period of rapid adaptation and innovation not only strengthened Indigenous Stone’s operational capacity but also reaffirmed its commitment to leadership, accountability, and the protection of community well-being.
Today, that same spirit of resilience continues to guide the company’s growth, transforming the lessons learned during the pandemic into a lasting framework for safety, security, and Indigenous empowerment.
